tug hill snowmobile renting conditions

All operators must be 18 years of age or older and hold a valid, unsuspended drivers license.

All operators of the snowmobile must sign a waiver of liability. Renter is responsable for all damages incurred to snowmobile.

The lessee is responsible for any and all damage & repairs, including but not limited to collision, towing, recovery, theft and vandalism. Insurance for collision is NOT available. Some home owners policies have coverage with a simple call to your agent.

A damage deposit of $1000.00 is required. This can be either cash or an authorized credit card hold (visa & mastercard only).

Rental periods are typically from 8 am to 5 pm. Free overnight rental is included with multiple day rentals.

Tug Hill Snowmobile Rentals reserves the right to refuse rental to anyone whom may present danger to themselves or others.

No person shall consume alcohol or mind altering drugs before or during operation of the snowmobile, prescription or otherwise. Some cold & flu medicines may reduce alertness.

Proper safety equipment must be worn at anytime the snowmobile is being operated.

Tug Hill Snowmobile Rentals reserves the right to cancel the rental due to unsafe trail conditions, without notice. WE decide if the trail conditions are appropriate. AbsoluteSnowmobile is an idependant Website that rates area trails. We use this as a guide.

Our snowmobiles may only be tailered in an enclosed trailer and only with our written permission and authorization.

There is a 7.75% NYS sales tax is added to all rentals

A 50% deposit is required on all rentals, including multiple day rentals & all multiple sled rentals, groups included.

If you arrive with less than the number of people booked, or if you fail to show up at all you will be charged full price for each snowmobile reserved!

Tug Hill Snowmobile Rental will hold your reservation for 30 minutes past your reservation time, unless arrangements are made.

We suggest you arrive at least 15 minutes before your reservation time.

The snowmobile is provided to the renter with a full tank of gas & oil topped off (Full). Renter is responsable for returning the snowmobile with a full tank of gas and oil topped off. Failure to do so, will result in the renter being charged to fill the tank with gas, at pump price as well as being charged for the 2-stroke oil. Rental Rates Do NOT include Gas & Oil.
